From the team at the Marco Family Small Pet Rescue, Thank-You for considering to open up your home and your heart to care for an animal in need.

We understand that we have quite a few questions (apologies), but it’s essential we get to know you and your family as we’ll be entrusting you with the care of an animal that has already gone through the trauma of being separated from their family or come from an abusive/ unfortunate home. Please include as much detail as you feel is necessary as you can below. This knowledge allows us to find the perfect foster care homes for animals in need.

In addition to this form, we’ll also require photos of your property just to confirm that you have the right facilities to keep the pet safe. If you happen to be renting, we do require proof from your agent or landlord, confirming that animals are allowed to live there.

Renting? If you are renting your home, we do require proof that pets are permitted on the premises. This can be provided in one of two ways:

1. Copy of your lease agreement: Please provide a copy of your lease that explicitly states that pets are allowed at your rented property.

2. Letter from your landlord: Alternatively, you can obtain a letter from your landlord granting permission for you to have a pet on the premises. This letter should explicitly state their approval for pet ownership. By providing this documentation, you help us ensure that the fostered pets will be in a suitable and permitted environment.

For the safety of the pets you foster, we kindly request that your own pets be sterilised and fully vaccinated. After submitting this form, please email us a copy of their most recent vaccination certificates. Alternatively, you may provide us with your veterinarian's name and contact details, and we will reach out to them directly. This will help us ensure a healthy and secure environment for all animals involved.

Marco Small Pet Rescue is responsible for veterinary costs.
